The Float Flex campaign encourages Americans to prepare their bodies for the roughly 3 pounds 5 ounces of Made Fresh Root Beer and creamy vanilla ice cream they'll consume on National Root Beer Float Day, Sunday, August 6. A&W will serve free small Root Beer Floats at participating locations between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time.

The campaign, created with agency Cornett, is meant to help Americans get "float ready" in the days leading up to the holiday.
